Burton Hill is a church committed to Loving God, Following Jesus, and Ministering to All People.
Loving God - When Jesus was asked which of His commandments was the greatest, He answered, "You shall love the Lord your God with all you heart, with all your soul, and with all of your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment" (Matthew 22:37-38)
Following Jesus - Just as Jesus asked His first disciples to follow Him (Mark 1:17), He extends to us the same invitation and wants us to live it out in community. As we journey with Jesus, He will help us understand how to love Him and love others. At Burton Hill, we're committed to cooperate with God in helping you become a more mature follower of Jesus and experience a full and purposeful life (John 10:10).
Ministering to All People - Jesus said, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself" (Matthew 22:39). Showing God's love to all people is what ministry is really all about. We believe every member of Burton Hill should be sharing Christ and serving others. Our Pastor and ministry staff follow their Biblical role - "equipping the saints [followers of Jesus] for the work of ministry" (Ephesians 4:12) - in order to train and mobilize our church members to meet the needs of those within our church and in our community.
